Faced with the inconvenient situation in which, for the past six years, each of the 338 residents of the 3808 housing program has been located, the general management of the National Real Estate Company led by its general manager, Herman Kamonomono, met on May 17 with said acquirers.
"We recognize that the expectation of the reservers has lasted long enough and for us, as a state-owned specialized vehicle for housing that has undertaken this program with the reservists, it was more than necessary to sit down with them for together, we can find ways and ways out of this lethargy that has lasted too long, "admitted Herman Kamonomono.
During this exchange meeting on the main difficulties identified in the context of the completion of these projects, three solutions have been proposed to the 338 reservists. Namely: the sale in the state of housing out of earth; compensation for an additional dwelling unit or parcel resulting from the 3808 housing program, and reimbursement of sums advanced by the persons concerned under the said program.
Welcoming the initiative, although considering that the solutions listed are not 100% satisfactory, and that it would be up to the reservists to assess them and to define the extent to which these solutions could be implemented quickly, Aurelia Mombey wished that the action phase is activated very quickly because some of them are in a hurry.
"We lost 7 years. In 7 years, a lot is happening. We do not have the same state of mind. We are not in the same conditions. The three propositions are still limited. We must think about more suitable solutions. Because, the situations are different from each other. I am one of those who are ready to go to SNI as soon as possible. I think that according to the will of the general management, that of quickly giving us satisfaction, it is up to us to make concrete proposals. You have to be positive and be optimistic because when you have a general directorate that runs the risk of going to the frustrated people, you have to have a much more optimistic and positive position and help you to go further ". she entrusted. It must be said that the works were indeed launched in 2013 in 12 localities of the country: Libreville, Owendo, Nkok, Franceville, Moanda, Lambarene, Mouila, Tchibanga, Makokou, Koula-Moutou, Port-Gentil and Oyem.
If Herman Kamonomono admits that the proposals made in terms of solution are not solutions written in concrete or on rock, for him, they nevertheless remain avenues of solutions applicable to each reservist according to the specificity of everyone.
"We want to be able to offer land titles to the reservists in compensation for the money that has been paid for the acquisition of housing so that they come into possession of a property. The ultimate goal is therefore to achieve the objectives that is permanently fixed by the government which consists of materializing the will of the Head of State which is to give access to the maximum of Gabonese land ownership. I can say that after six years of waiting, we finally see the end of the tunnel because we are at the same time a people of dialogue, we are individuals who whatever the problem, when they sit, they are able to find solutions, "said the director general of SNI.
Determined to solve this situation and offer a smile to its reservists, the SNI General Management has set 20 May 2019 as the effective launch of the 3808 housing program.
