Good news for the irregular occupants of the land capital of the National Real Estate Company (SNI). The latter, estimated at 1400 Gabonese, will be offered the opportunity to own a plot.

Engaged in a real citizen approach, the National Real Estate Company (SNI) intends to carry out a nice action against the populations settled irregularly on its land reserves. Indeed, part of the company's land capital is squatted by 1400 people, the latter having no authorization or title.

To those who have a built environment and who have settled irregularly on its sites, the SNI offers them "exceptional" and "punctual", the "opportunity to acquire full ownership of the plates occupied". In other words, this approach, which is consistent with the social vision of the Head of State, His Excellency Ali Bongo Ondimba aims to allow these compatriots to become owners of a parcel.

In addition, to prevent such inconvenience in the future, the SNI intends to put an end to the expansion of the phenomenon of the anarchic occupation of its rights of way, using legal and regulatory means; in accordance with its strategy based on the respect of the laws in force on land.

For example, it is progressively implementing signs on all its sites for deterrence and awareness raising. A campaign that fits with SNI's decision to build up land reserves in all of the country's localities. An initiative to ensure the viability and sustainability of development projects of its action in the real estate development, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Head of State.
